Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE 2019) for MCA Admission
Assam JMEE 2019 Joint MCA Entrance Exam:
Applications are invited by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati, for admission into 1st Semester Class of MCA Program 2019 in the Colleges.
Assam JMEE 2019 Important Dates
- Opening Date of online application: 31st May 2019
- Closing Date of online application: 15th June 2019
- Issue of Admit Card online: 18th June 2019
- Date of Examination (JMEE): 07th July 2019 (Sunday), Time: 11.00 am to 2.00 pm
- Declaration of Result: 16th July 2019
Eligibility Criteria for Assam JMEE 2019
- Age between 20 years to 26 years on 01st day of July 2019
- Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.
- A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying degree examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)
- Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply. Provisional admission shall be permitted provided that student gives an undertaking that he/she shall be able to provide final mark sheet/ certificate of qualifying examination within 2 months of taking admission failing which the admission shall have to clear all subjects upto 5th Semester in degree level. These students will have to produce all mark sheets upto 5th Semester for verification during counseling.
Assam JMEE 2019 Exam Pattern
There will be joint admission examination for selection consisting of a single paper of 3 hours duration, which will consist of the following sections:
- Mathematics: 30 questions
- Reasoning: 30 questions
- English: 20 questions
- Fundamental of computing: 20 questions
- Questions will be MCQ type. Every question will carry 4 marks each. 4 marks will be awarded for correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
- The joint Admission examination will be held on 07th July 2019 (Sunday)

Examination Centers: Guwahati, Jorhat
Admit Card:
- The candidates will be able to download his/her admit card from the university website www.astu.ac.in from 18th June 2019 onwards by entering his/her application form number/ user name and password generated during the online submission of application.
Assam JMEE 2019 Application Process
- Candidate seeking admission to the exam (JMEE-2019) must apply online at this website www.astu.ac.in
- An application fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid online using “State bank Collect” which facilities payment through debit/credit/ Net banking. ASTU shall not accept hard copy of the Application and any other documents
