Important Dates for Assam Joint Lateral Entrance Examination 2019:
- Opening date for submission of application form: 31st May 2019
- Closing date for submission of application form: 15th June 2019
- Issue of Admit card online: 18th June 2019 onwards till the date of examination
- Date of examination (JLEE) - 07th July 2019 (Sunday), Time: 11.00 am to 02.00 pm
- Declaration of Result: 16th July 2019
Eligibility Criteria for Assam Joint Lateral Entrance Examination 2019:
- Recognized Diploma of minimum 3 years duration from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE)
- A minimum of overall 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) must be scored in the Polytechnic Course
- Candidate must be a Permanent resident of Assam
- Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply but they must have to produce their Original Mark sheet along with Pass Certificate of the Final Diploma on the day of Admission.
Assam JLEE 2019 Exam Pattern:
There will be joint Admission Examination for Selection consisting of a single paper of 3 hours duration which will consist of the following sections:
- Mathematics: 30 questions
- Basic Computers: 10 questions
- Graphics: 10 questions
- Branch of Engineering: 50 questions
- Questions will be MCQ type. Every question will carry 4 marks each. 4 marks will be awarded for correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The Joint Admission Examination will be held on 07th July 2019 (Sunday)
Admit Card:
- The candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www. Astu.ac.in from 18th June 2019 onwards by entering his/her Application form number/ user name and Password generated during the online submission of application.

- Candidates have to fill their applications online through website www.astu.ac.in
Fee Structure:
- An Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) is to be paid online using “State bank Collect” which facilities payment through Debit/Credit card/ Net banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not accept hard copy of the Application and any other documents. Examination fee, once paid, is not refundable.
