Punjabi University, Patiala will make admission to MBA Two-Year Regular Course based on the Entrance Test and Group Discussion conducted by the Punjabi University, Patiala for its School of Management Studies, Punjabi University Campus, Patiala; Regional Centres; Neighborhood Campuses; Off Campuses and various Colleges affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala.

Eligibility Criteria for Punjabi University Patiala MBA Admission 2019:
M.B.A. (2 years):
- Prerequisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).
- Admission will be based on University Level Entrance Test and Group Discussion. (85% weightage to Entrance Test and 15% weightage to Group Discussion Marks.)
M.B.A. 1+1 Degree (2 years) with INSEEC France (International Business):
- Prerequisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50 marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability)
- Admission will be on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview
M.B.A. (2 years) (International Business):
- Prerequisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability)
- Admission will be on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview
MBA (Hospital and Health Care Management)
- Prerequisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree (preferably science background) examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability). Candidate with graduation science stream will be preferred.
- Admission will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of weightage to academic performance in graduation (85%) and to interview and group discussion (15%).
MBA (Environment and Solid Waste Management)
- Prerequisite: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree examination (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability).
- Admission will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of weightage to academic performance in graduation (85%) and to interview and group discussion (15%).
Reservation
- Reservation is applicable as per Punjab Govt. / Punjabi University Rules.
Scheme of the Entrance Test:
- There will be 100 multiple choice (four alternatives) objective type questions in the paper as per the scheme given below:
- Part I: Mental and Numerical Ability - 25 questions; 25 marks
- Part II: General Knowledge - 25 questions; 25 marks
- Part III: General English - 25 questions; 25 marks
- Part IV: Business Aptitude - 25 questions; 25 marks
- Duration of the paper will be 2 Hours (11.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)
- Each question will be of one mark
- There will be no negative marking
- The candidate is to select one correct answer and mark it on OMR Sheet with only Dark Black Gel Pen
Merit List:
- The qualifying marks for MBA entrance exam shall be 40% (35% for SC/ST candidates).
- The admission will be based upon the merit list prepared on the basis of 85% weightage to Entrance Test Marks and 15% weightage to Group Discussion Marks
- Candidate cannot miss the group discussion otherwise his result will not be published and will be treated as fail. Candidates shall be eligible to appear in the counseling in order of merit, subject to their having passed the respective basic qualifying exam.

- The Application Forms for admission to MBA Two-Year Regular Course offered by Punjabi University, Patiala (for School of Management Studies, Punjabi University Campus; its Regional Centres; Neighbourhood Campuses: Off Campuses and its affiliated colleges) for the year 2019 will be processed through an On-line system. Candidates are required to fill the Online Application Form by the stipulated date
- Complete application forms should be submitted to Head, School of Management Studies, Arts Block No-6, First Floor, Punjabi University, Patiala along with a bank draft of Rs.3500/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Punjabi University, Patiala or can be deposited at enquiry main gate, Punjabi University, as per schedule To apply, candidates are required to make the cash payment at any branch of State Bank of Patiala, using print out of fees challan form
